Re: Windows live one care sale.

I like Windows One-Care and highly recommend the service. It is very configurable -- and works well if not extremely well protecting your computer and network connections effectively from the bad stuff.

I've seen it on an XP setup. It ran really light and smoothly. Will OneCare work on systems that have Win 2000 ProSP4? I can't seem to find out that info..

Thanks
Jim

Jim, Windows OneCare will only run on Windows XP and Windows Vista ... and yes it is a shame that MS did not build a version of OneCare for Win2K.

BTW, for others who are interested OneCare is comprised of a number of configurable services.

1. Antivirus
2. Anti-spyware
3. Anti-phishing
4. Firewall
5. Performance tune-ups
6. Backup and restore

And it is actually remarkable how 'light' on resources all of these services run.

I have over 100 clients all of whom bar-none are very happy with OneCare.
