I like Windows One-Care and highly recommend the service. It is very configurable -- and works well if not extremely well protecting your computer and network connections effectively from the bad stuff. -- David Mozer IT-Expert on Call Information Technology for Home and Business |

| I've seen it on an XP setup. It ran really light and smoothly. Will OneCare work on systems that have Win 2000 ProSP4? I can't seem to find out that info..

Jim Jim, Windows OneCare will only run on Windows XP and Windows Vista ... and yes it is a shame that MS did not build a version of OneCare for Win2K.
BTW, for others who are interested OneCare is comprised of a number of configurable services.
1. Antivirus 2. Anti-spyware 3. Anti-phishing 4. Firewall 5. Performance tune-ups 6. Backup and restore
And it is actually remarkable how 'light' on resources all of these services run.
I have over 100 clients all of whom bar-none are very happy with OneCare. -- David Mozer IT-Expert on Call Information Technology for Home and Business |
