|  [Skype] Video leak? Whos taking up a battle with skype?
Last week I downloaded a strange movie while downloading the film “the meeting” from Limewire! It shows a meeting between 2 dudes discussing a voip & entertainment in 1 application. Sounds interesting but whos behind this? I’ve uploaded the movie 4u on www.youtube.com »www.youtube.com/watch?v=7IjpznRxNLY Looks like it was not supposed 2b filmed – which made me very curious! I did some searches to find out who’s behind this application. My search went a lot of different directions but maybe you can help me out here who’s competing with skype! |

MS has runs a campaign on VoIP 4 businesses »www.microsoft.com/uc/voipasyouare/ (off topic: have to admit: it’s somewhat funny). But this application is probably 4 consumers.
Also I found an article on Viacom and MS. MS just extended their video licensing from viacom. »www.marketwatch.com/news/story/v···70B37%7D So… maybe they make this content available in a new consumer application and building a proper VoIP application… |

No one has read the article in VON magazine yet ? Sept 07 issue has Interview with Niklas Zennstrom, found of Skype, Shaker of Status Quo. In the interview he was asked what is he up to now ?
Joost - new company involved with TV over internet. Possibly that is what the video is talking about, and then maybe not. |

I figured it was Microsoft, but I'm in doubt right now. It's not their style to leak something as important as this. Whoever is behind this must come forward pretty soon, since it's out in the open now. |

@Harchirou8: MS already has it’s Messenger which facilitates pc2pc calling (since a long time - I never got it to work properly though).

Could this even be skype it self? version with more integrated functionality That’s what they guy sais: “virtual wallet”. They are part of ebay just like paypall. It’s about time skyp integrated this stuff more!
But @Prayer: Joost would be even more logical.
