I am not sure where to post this and if we can talk about it here anyway do you download CAM versions of the movies i hate when they cover the CAM and most CAM versions got very bad quality like Hydro Cam. |

| I don't download movies. That's not a judgement of your download habits however. I find most movie releases these days banal and not worth seeing on the big screen. If it's that interesting to me, I'll wait for the DVD and usually Netflix it. I'm just not in that big a hurry to see the schlok that Hollywood puts out these days, or download some worthless crap some punk capped off the big screen.

Nope don't bother with cam movies never did. I used to download AVI dvd rips and ISOs sometimes but now just download the dvd ISO with newsgroups. |

Nope to me you have to be really desperate to want a cam version. I hate the cams that come out that have no compression and they try to pass them off as retail. I usually get my movies that are ripped 1-2 months before their release, anything before that you know its a cam. |

I had a hard time understanding your post, was that a question or a comment? Punctuation really helps to get your message understood.
Anyway. Intelligent search queries backed with a little homework, will yield excellent results. Hundreds and hundreds of excellent quality .avi's are out there. Most times, the word "CAM" is incorporated into the filename anyway. Comparing your file to the Bitzi website will tell you exactly what you have... a poor cam job, misleading/bogus filename, or an excellent rip. Bitzi is a must have tool. And PeerGuardian2 is indispensable.
Downloading without PeerGuardian is as smart as having intimate relations with a $20 hooker scarred with needle marks, and going bareback. Or jumping from the top of the Sears tower using your Totes umbrella to control your descent.

I did not know I exhibited such evolved behavior (sorry, behaviour) by engaging in these advanced practices! LOL...
FWIW, I tend to grab them only after they have been well seeded. That way, I can turn my computer off sooner, and at the same time, help save the planet. |
