EMBARQ email stinks!

I hate it. I just switched and it is so freaking confusing... why did they go and change when theirs isn't user friendly

I totally agree. It is the worst I have ever had. It takes several minutes to load up, has so much advertising there is no room left to read the mail. It won't let you sign off without the annoying warning are you sure? They sure better get their act together. I changed my personal email but plan on keeping my business email under eatthlink. It is weel worth paying the extra than putting up with embarq.

I have the worst time finding the login when I google embarq!! You would think that they would make it easy to find their login but NOoooooo! In fact that is hwo I found this board! I've clicked on about 4 embarq links but none of them are for email login This happens all the time with embarq!!!

EMBARQ email is the worst! Too slow, down all day yesterday & they say "our engineers are working on it". These folks are supposed to be in the communication business!! Give me a break!

Yep email does stink right now but I am paying for the DSL which works fine. I see nothing itemized on my bill for email services.

Did I expect this migration to be smooth? Nope they never are. From Netcom, to Mindspring, to Earthlink, and then to Sprint/Embarq. Not a single one without a hitch.

Relax a bit not having email with your DSL,CABLE, Sat provider isn't that big of a deal. I have also had a Gmail account and a Yahoo mail account for a long time for when stuff like this happens.

Re: EMBARQ email stinks!

Umm okay .... Since all these anon post are most likely the same person I will answer all in one post.

»www.embarq.com - top right is LOGIN

Usually Email is bundled with Internet service so it isn't itemized, this was done years ago, it was too confusing for people(what is this $2.50 charge for?) so they stopped doing it.

Do a Google to enter a KNOWN website ???

Well, www.embarq.com IS the first one listed when you do Google it.

If you are unhappy with the EMail from your Internet provider there are MANY EMail providers, or get your own domain.
