Have you had Insight come out to look at things. Yes I'm aware that a visit can be a major hassle. I'm also aware of the frustrations of dealing with customer service representatives. But it might be worth having a technician come out to check the lines and maybe swap out your equipment.
My solution below helped me when our Motorola DVR decided to started acting more of a pain in the backside than usual.
Motorola DCT6412 III full factory reset. Keep in mind any programs recorded ( if this is your model box ) will in fact be gone. All other settings will be reset to factory default as well. Use at your own risk.

| Yes, as I said, several techs have been out. A few were no call no shows but from the few that actually showed up, they simply reset the box and left. When I told them another tech had already done this to only have it come back again, they said, basically, "Im sure it'll work this time."
Basically, I am getting the run around. Every time I call they try to run me through the same old hoops again and again. |
