You know I seem to remember once. I tried viewing a Disc, can't remember which commercial disc in Classic WMP. And it gave me some error regards commercial rights or what not.
BTW I did go down to Power DVD 6 and no joy, cleaned the reg before reinstall. Nothing.
What is interesting is when I mount a image of a DVD and play it it works fine. |

| I won't touch any Power DVD past 3.5. That is the only one that I like and that has the ability to fit to screen ...I don't have a wide screen monitor, nor do I want one, as I really like the 19" flat panel digital LCD that I have. You might go back further than version 6. -- "The same ferocity that our founders devoted to protect the freedom and independence of the press is now appropriate for our defense of the freedom of the internet. | reply to Warzau It begins to sound more like a problem with DRM. Since an image works normally, and usually to make an image you need Anydvd or a product like it that removes DRM, the image will not have any of that garbage in it. The DRM stuff will try to prevent you from accessing the disk which I am assuming is causing the problems. I can understand them wanting to protect their product, but it is a pain when the protection prevents or interferes with legitimate use of the product. If you have Anydvd try having it running when you play the disk, if it still locks up, then I am wrong about DRM being the problem. Hope this helps.
