| This just looks like an earlier version that is being repackaged. They offered ABS 6 free before ABS 7 came out, so perhaps v.8's arrival is near.
That's how I started with ABS, by taking advantage of one of these free offers. Then when the next version came out, I was offered it at a reduced price.

Edit: I finally had to create an email address at one of my domains to register.

When you run the installation program it prompts you to register with Ashampoo. The reg key you need to fully unlock the program is sent to the e-mail address you provide. I'd do it before November 8th just to be on the safe side. You can always uninstall it. Just hold on to the reg key in case you want to reinstall later or on another machine. | |

This download offer expires 08/11/2007. The publisher reserves the right to stop this offer at anytime without notice. I wouldn't wait too long. If they get too many freebie registration requests they may pull the plug early.
