Would you pay an extra monthly fee to your ISP for unlimited, legal p2p music downloads?
No. For the same reason I don't buy the music from anywhere else. The artists will never see a cent of my money.
If I could pay artists in a Radiohead-like fashion, THEN I'd pay for my music. But I won't pay the FAA for a flight form Delta, I won't pay the NHTSA for a new car from Ford, I won't pay Avista for my internet, and I won't pay the RIAA for my music.
