1 edit | Any ISP selling the Siemens SpeedStream 4100b, 4200?
Euh... With generic FirmWare for use by 'DMT', of course!
Look at this SS4200! Spectral Response and 24 h Error Rate curve in one screen!!!
SNR Drops at regular intervals, HiVolt, 2007-Nov-2
How much money do you bet it would be worth compared to a SpeedTouch???

For a tard like me, are you saying the Speedstream is good or bad? |

...still 100% stable with no loss of sync... I really have no idea how this modem can hold at below 5dB SNR for this long, on a daily basis. It goes as low as 1.5-2.0dB... |

| reply to Bicephale Why do you want a 5260? Those are really old, they run the same chipset as the Alcatel SpeedTouch Home/Pro. They don't even have a web/telnet interface, however some 5260's can be flashed to a 5660 which has web/telnet interface.
It's still an old modem and wont perform well on marginal lines. -- GO LEAFS GO! |
