That's how I interpreted it as well. Perhaps there wasn't anything wrong with the execution of the role at all then, I just fell victim to unfulfilled expectations.

Chlen chooses Johnny, chooses Yock to send it to, and Yock does not see that it is Johnny's role (i.e. he sees the role but not that it belongs to Johnny)? That's how I think it worked... because Chlen decided to reveal that it was Johnny's role that he sent to Yock.

So - my conclusion is that if Chlen had chosen Dan, then Yock would have been told that he had a night poison, but not that it was Dan's. Then Chlen could reveal in the thread that it was Dan's role that was sent to Yock, Yock could reveal that it was Player X that he targeted, and when Player X dies of poisoning, Dan would be outed as Scum.

I'm just frustrated because I was lynched primarily because of how that went down. Chlen had such high hopes for how that would play out. When nothing really happened I think a lot of folks assumed I was scum. Perhaps Chlen's input would be valuable before you decide to change anything.

no. Lets do a scenario:

Chlen told me to bake the bread of older dog (cop for my scenario) and then he told me to give the bread to yock (politician).

Yock would receive an IM come night fall that says, "You at some bread and have been granted the ability to investigate someone this night."

He would be able to do his normal politician role and one investigation for that night...
