Nice job on the poll there ma'am. Thank you for helping out with this years software polls.

I user CCleaner and some restrictive settings in IE6 for those little cookies.

I use a shell script (on linux) that clears unwanted cookies from the "cookies.txt" file, as part of firefox startup (startup invoked by a shell script which first runs the cookie cleaning script).

I voted none cos I"m using UBUNTU,I imagine there's something integrated, but I have nothing EXTERNAL.

Just to add, I clear BROWSER cookies ever time I shut down FF.

Firefox is main browser, but also use Opera and Maxthon Classic/IE7. Use the following combo:

CookieSafe Firefox extension
SpywareBlaster (adds known ad/tracking cookie sites to Fx & IE blocked cookies)
Browser's cookie controls
CCLeaner just to cleanup anything missed by the above.

Use to use the CookieCuller extension but switched to CookieSafe because the dev for CookieCuller has "given up trying to make CookieCuller compatible with the Clear Prive Data functionality in Firefox 1.5 & 2". CookieCuller has not been updated since 10/09/06.

Edit: Fixed typo

NONE. Both Firefox and IE7 have sufficient capabilities to control cookies without any addons if you set them up right. And that is block all by default except for a whitelist.

I use a program called Cookie Terminator ever since Windows 98. I don't think it works in Vista.

Currently using Paraben because it was cheaper when I lost CookiePal after a major crash.
But they are virtually the same program!
Looks like there was some kind of split internally with the company a good while ago, and whoever left maybe had the code rights but not the name rights.
Interesting thing though, G.Topala's System Information Works would recognize the program and call it CookiePal even though the GUI is branded as Paraben

None. I use Fx cookie control, set to dump cookies upon closure, along with a whitelist for cookies I always want to allow and blacklist for those I never want to allow. Works fine.

Thanks for the great poll lilhurricane See Profile!

Just a couple...
Great Poll lil!

I allow all cookies, period. .They're harmless
I have various scanners that may deem some cookies as "bad".
I allow these "bad" cookies to be deleted by whatever scanner that wishes to do so.
No worries! I'll just get new cookies! LOL!
