We have been testing the waters on other job possibilities, although we do have job security where we are at, if we left they would be left high and dry with no one to be able to support 90% of the stuff we do, the other 2 techs are mainly A/V and desktop. |

Figuring out how "1" and "2" actually balance out is always a fun game of "who blinks first". | I agree that I and the other tech are not irreplaceable, to think so would be conceited. We have done the "I'm not happy" routine to get a raise, and to voice our concerns about the work situation and then it will be peachy keen for a few months then its right back to old tricks by management.
As for myself most of the other job offers I have received are either contract work or one that pays considerable less than what I make or one with little to no benefits. |
