There is no user interaction or billing component to SDV beyond selecting channels that are already included in your monthly package. The cable companies have dug in their heels on this and are adamant that they completely control the user interface for VOD and PPV (and everything else on the DVR). TiVo has proposed a compromise where the cable company could have their own screens for VOD and PPV. |
