Advanced Windows Care Personal

Just asking about this prog. Is it good? Bad? Ugly? I tried checking out the site, reading reviews, etc. But I value BroadbandReports posters and their personal experiences with things. I have gotten excellent advice here in the past (close to 6 years).

I use it along side CCleaner and TU2006 and i find that it finds stuff that both CC and TU miss, plus i love the immunize feature. It reminds me so much of Spybot S&D.

Ok great. Thanks. I have heard a few people say that it isn't for the "casual user". It can be dangerous so far as what it removes, etc. Have you had any experience with this?

Nope none. IMO it does what it says it does and with no side effects.

Edit: Even with what you have heard, the first time you use this program it asks you to make a backup so that if anything does go wrong you can restore what was removed or fixed.

I used it once in Windows Vista Beta and it made the OS unable to get past the welcome screen on reboot. That was several months ago and as I said Vista Beta (Vista may have said enough).

I've been using it for a few months on both vista and xp machines. Works well, made the vista box more manageable.

Just remember to manually update it.
