The providers just don't want to listen. I'm sure any one of those companies could choose to put their money where their mouth is and out-compete pirates (without giving away their content or customer's rights). They need to accept that competing rather than trying to stop pirates is the better route and they also need to realize that they cannot stop ALL pirating. Not without creating police states all over the world (including the U.S.) and destroying everything we know about democracy.

| Sadly, we're already pretty far down the road to "police state". It's just a matter of time before expressing an opinion is a capital crime, and nobody can argue without also being guilty. |
