The tradition started back in 2005 with a followup in 2006. We need to get a 2007 topic running before the year runs out, so here it is. The traveling thread has historically been a topic that moves about the site from forum to forum, letting those who participate find new forums, meet new folks and have some fun along the way.

I like to think of it as the Baltimore/Washington/Annapolis Forum . . .

We have snow here! Not yet though...probably in March. Folks drive up to the top of Mauna Kea and bring a truckload down to Hilo and make snowmen and have snowball fights at the beach!

And a fine hello to everyone this morning. We do get snow, but you should not necessarily count on using the sled for Christmas! Here is a place where "Inside the Beltway" refers to Politics or a neighborhood you don't live in - but I do!
