There is something haunting about this image, even if the guitar player wasn't there. I love the texture and feel of wherever it is. |

The shadows and light are gorgeous and with the musician sitting there as he is, one can truly see the immensity of size of the structure/trees under which he sits. |

Full size view please. Done with only shading the natural reliefs of the rocks. I saw the faces first in the original rock work. |

Sorry for slacking off here - I was in WV for a couple of days. No pix though. It was raining the entire time and most of the drive time, once I started getting further into Maryland was through pea-soup fog - I swear, visibility was about 25'. Luckily there wasn't much traffic out that way. I know there were mountains because I drove up and down them, but I sure as heck didn't SEE them. Brought the film camera because the CCD image sensor went bad on my digital, but it was just too dreary and wet to get any good pictures. |

DownTheShore you are slightly forgiven but no sleep for you for 3 days and nights to make up for it. What camera do you have that died. Grendal posted this in the DI harware forum: » www.imaging-resource.com ··· cds.html |

But...but...I have to babysit my 2 1/2 year old niece these next few days... I really, really need some sleep...doing the hokey-pokey for hours tires me out something fierce.... Actually, I should be on my way over there now instead of typing this. Thanks for that link, but I had googled and found the same info when I got back. Anyway, I have a Canon PowerShot A75 which is one of the affected cameras. I emailed Canon about it and they already replied (quite promptly) and are going to send me a pre-paid shipping label to send the camera back to them for repair. It's a PITA that it happened, but at least they'll fix it free. Off I go to face the child. But as she would say, I really "need some tweep" instead. |
