anyone know if there is faster upload as part of the package? I'd love to send out faster than 768.

Sean Good luck, especially if you're running standard dmt/ADSL2+. The sync cap on dmt/ADSL2+ is 1Mbit, and you won't get that after overhead. Also, a lot of CPEs/modems will only sync at 896K max. I believe Annex M is supposedly something that may help/change this, but, as with any DSL, highly distance sensitive. And, not too many providers are running Annex M ADSL2+ Excuse me if I got some of that wrong, I'm just going from memory here. All I know that is the max you'll be able to get is around 768-850 after overhead, anyhow. And that's only if your Rx rate is sync'd at 1Mbps. Verizon doesn't utilize Annex M. I'm pretty certain they're scrapping further DSL innovation, to make way for FiOS, which makes complete sense. |
