If I have digital cable in one room and regular cable in another, if I move the digital cable box to the room with regular cable, will it work as fully featured box? |

as long as the cable company does not have any fillters on the line going to the other room. |

The most important issue really has to do with the signal quality at the outlet in the other room |

VERY true - when Insight here first offered cable modem service, they did this very religiously in all homes w/either cable modem &/or digital cable boxes. They also put filters on lines at their outside taps for all basic-only subs. However, Insight stopped doing this about a couple years ago & no longer uses these filters at all - but obviously, many homes still have them in place. |
