look & ye shall find,hesitate & you are lost.

New Orleans, which has seen a rise in crime as it continues to recover from Hurricane Katrina, is set to be named the murder capital of the US for the second year running.

Louisiana's biggest city registered =============

nearly 30% more than the 161 recorded in 2006.

But New Orleans' population is thought to be 295,450, which would mean a rate of about 71 homicides per=========

said by Al Mims Jr., a community activist and state Board of Parole member :
For a lot of people in this city, they have this feeling that as it long as it doesn't affect them, then it's OK. Until it hits home, it doesn't matter. We need to change that.
According to the article only Gary, IN (pop. less than 100,000) has a comparable per capita murder rate.

Sad.
