how to install distributed.net on mac osx?

i'm getting a mac, should be here tomorrow. i was curious as to how to install distributed.net on it ... i know you drag the DMG file onto applications. but what about setting it so it starts up automatically when it boots. it quite possibly could be something very simple that i will see when i get the computer turned on. but just in case if someone could help out. thanks!!

so i followed the instructions.

i have a folder in i assume /user/{username}/dnetc

in the dnetc folder i typed ./dnetc -config and it loaded up and i configured it. i exited out of that and i typed ./dnetc -install and i get this error.

dnetc: Unable to create directory '/Library/StartupItems/dnetc' Permission denied

any ideas.

Had I seen your post in time, that's just what I would have suggested.
