I don't know if it is company wide but locally true fiber rings into customer buildings is minimum 6 foot separation of the cables. We have one that one cable is aerial and the other one is buried right below the other one to the same building.

I was working at a major telco data center (shall remain nameless) that had dual fiber conduits coming up the outside of the building. Thye must have been less tha 6 feet apart, because the lanscaper took out both conduits with his backhoe.
