SUPERAntiSpyware free is the only botkliller i have installed as i use it during recovery from infections in my persuit of new malwares

It is also the first botkiller out of my toolkit when cleaning up clients hosed pc's

Disclaimer-Any malware i find that SAS cannot remove,is bundled off to SAS HQ and extradited into their target database...This will continue as long as Nick S gives a free fully working detection/cleaning engine and dose not bundle/offer any toolbars like some others!

I am really surprised about the limited use of the MVP HOST file. I would have bet the farm this would have had greater use!

I for one am going to be given the MVPS HOSTS file a shot very soon...it looks like a great idea for dealing with scum-ware at its very essence before the junk can get on to a PC and cause havoc.

I just use the AntiSpyware portion of NIS2008 along with OpenDNS.

Oh, I forgot, FireFox, AdBlock Plus, and NoScript.

Never got a virus yet.

Windows Defender resident and SpywareBlaster protection installed, with the other two for occasional on-demand scans.

Why use a host file when you have ad block plus?

Isn't Ad Block/Ad Block Plus only for Firefox? I thought I read somewhere it wasn't compatible with IE7, but it's very possible I'm mistaken on that.
