Sorry for slow response Irish Shark

I haven't felt well the last few days & will need to get someone to help me unplug & replug things behind this corner desk for me since I'm not too bendable.
There is no name I can see on the cable modem, but the model #60678EU on google comes up as an Ambit Speedstream.

I should be able to do the rest of what you mentioned tonight or tomorrow and will post my results at that time.

Thanks for your response Irish Shark

Not to worry. Hope you feel better.

Go here »192.168.100.1/
You may be prompted for a username and password. The username is root and the password is also root. Some Ambit cable modems have the information you are after on more than one web page.

Post your signals.

Hi Irish Shark

I finally am back online after being down with the flu a couple weeks. That was a nasty one, but anyways, I did want to let you know something that I found out today from my cable company. I only have the basic service which is 320k speed, so after looking at what my speeds were when I ran the previous tests, they don't seem too bad compared to what my max can be. So unless I decide to pay for a faster speed, I won't go any further into checking anything else unless for some reason you think I should.

Thanks so much for your kindness and patience with me last month. I sure appreciate it.

Donna

Donna, glad to hear that you are feeling better. Unless you go to a higher tier, that looks like the best that you are going to do.

If you do, come on back and we can look at it again.
