| reply to PolarBear Yep, called them to fix a couple of sign on pin errors. What should have happened other then they took care of it? That dark thing above your head? It's a cloud. I think for the most part, at least the past few months, when people call Sprint, they're already expecting the worst and sometimes create the problem themselves or get confrontational before they make it past the 2nd ring. If we all blew off ANYPLACE that provided bad customer service, we would eat at home more often, stay out of bars, walk instead of drive cars and stare at the walls. |

| Understandable, but my point was simply that they are infamous for poor customer service. If you weren't in the Coast Guard, I'd think you were a shrink the way you over-analyzed that |

| reply to SPRINT BABY Sprint's CEO said a few weeks ago that they are preparing to deploy some 'nukes'. Wow if this happens....

quote: NEW YORK (Reuters) - No. 3 U.S. mobile service provider Sprint Nextel Corp (S.N) is expected to offer flat-rate calling plans at up to a 40 percent discount to its rivals, hurtling the industry into a price war, analysts said on Wednesday.
Sprint has yet to respond, but analysts say it could be considering an unlimited calling plan for as low as $60 a month in a bid to stem customer defections.
If something like this happens, I imagine roaming will become complicated again. |

| reply to PolarBear Hey, unlike some people here, I've had the chance to live all over the place, HI, CA, FL, WI, MI, CT, KY... I've experienced a whole page of different cable providers, eaten in many different establishments and have had various credit cards, so maybe that's why I don't get my hanes in a bunch when I see something wrong with my cell bill, my cable bill or insurance premiums. I call and act like an adult to get the problem fixed. The infamous part is not indigenous to Sprint. I've been blessed with visiting a Verizon retail store. Sometimes, I think the morons all come from the same womb.
p.s., I'm retired. |

Oh, I completely agree with that. Billing errors aren't what I was referring to, though. I understand in this world of computers, shit - and billing errors - happen. I've read a lot of stories on the internet, however, that make it clear that Sprint's problem is getting the issue fixed. From what I've heard, even trying to get to a human is a pain in the ass. Then trying to get them to understand and attempt to fix the problem is a bigger pain. -- There comes a point in your life when you get tired of fixing everything and wiping everyone's ass. But its not giving up. Its realizing that you dont need certain people and the bullshit and drama they bring to your life. |
