When a Yak customer calls customer service with a technical problem who do they get to yack to, a Yak agent or someone at TSI? (I assume that when a customer calls with an admin/billing issue they get to a Yak, not TSI, agent.)

With the argument that an MVNO just resells Bell's service, but can still offer a different service at different (lower) price points. By this, I meant to say that a reseller could buy gigs in bulk much like an MVNO buys minutes, and provide a different service at different price points. It's too bad that TekSavvy doesn't own the lines, without that $20.50 fee we might see some really interesting offerings from companies interested in higher risk services.

We have just under 400 resellers/wholesalers throughout the four Provinces (AB/BC/ON/QC), for which we get involved with on varying levels... some from a Managed Virtual ISP level, some from a brokering the copper connection to Bell level and others as simple resellers selling TSI service. -- TSI Rocky - TekSavvy Solutions Inc.

There's no indication that they're not wholesaling service like an MVNO is. In fact, it seems likely. Only Rocky could tell us. How does Virgin Mobile (Yak) undercut Bell Mobility (TekSavvy)? They're just buying minutes (gigs) and redistributing them in a different way.

Been with them since. Its pppoe connection place your filters on and what else do you need for ts Ps I use gmail for email so don't know about there servers and the only other complaint is they have some stupid proxy so I cant use raid share $25 bucks a month -t edit yea i made comment as tman88

They may have a relationship like an MVNO, where they'd pay a base fee for the line, then buy a large quantity of bandwidth (say, tens of terabytes per month). At that point, they can redistribute the bandwidth as they see fit. They'd be making the same value judgements as a "real" ISP. In short, they're likely using the low-bandwidth users to subsidize the high-bandwidth users, and average the two prices. People who don't need unlimited pay more, people who do need it pay less.
