[VoiceStick] CODE number for FREE $10 for BETA test of MyGlobalT

CODE number for FREE $10 for BETA test of MyGlobalTalk.com

www.myglobaltalk.com beta program

We are looking for about 900 signups for a beta test of this new site from i2telecom, parent company of www.voicestick.com

Those that wish to be involved will need to sign up at MyGlobalTalk in a normal fashion.

A credit card must be used to sign up. ONLY ONE SIGN UP TO THE PROGRAM PER CREDIT CARD (This should help us keep the HOGS out that would flood us looking for free service)

A $10 deposit will be PRE AUTHORIZED to your card (Done for fraud checking purposes). When the BETA testers properly put the following code in the AGENT box we will NOT finish the process of charging the card, but we will leave the $10. Or in other words you will get $10 of free calling and no actual charges will be made to your credit card.

The code word to type in the AGENT box on the sign up form is

MGTBETA1

(Upper or lower case is ok.)

There is no monthly charge for the account, and no other garbage charges. There is only one charge for the bridge call, the outbound cost. Call cost will be based on the rate table found on www.myglobaltalk.com. Rates may change as this is a test site, and anything can change

This service is designed for use with phones and cell phones. The service at this time may work via other means but in the near future, other SIP type devices may not work.

You agree that we may email you from time to time to ask you questions about service quality, site design, usability and other possible issues. Any suggestions that you may offer to us, via any form, will become the property of i2telecom. Really good input could result in additional free credit being granted to some users. This will be done at the discretion of the marketing department, based upon my mood.

Tried, but got the error.

Your Transaction was Successful... But an ERROR occured during automated Account Creation.

Billing was always a problem with VS.

Anyway, Thank you for your offer.

The "Terms and Conditions" link on page "https://signup.voicestick.com/mgtSignup/index.php?step=REVIEW" does not work.

Just as an FYI, I just checked my CC and the charge/authorization went through even though the account wasn't set up.

Yeah, we will catch all of the CC auth. That is the easy part.

So the REAL DEAL is.....

I did my test, but did not bother to see if it went all the way.

It did NOT.

None of the other ones went through either.

I said to the programming boys that maybe this being leap day this was the problem.

Of course they laughed me out of the place, told me that Marketing people just do not understand the programs like they do and tossed me out of the room.

Well I have the last laugh it appears....

Will post when they have a work around.

Yeah, don't worry about th credit card. It is just a authorization, and we will kill those here in a litle bit. That is easy to do.

WE ARE BACK ON, looks like they are going to buy me lunch!!!

I guess I am just too old to still believe in what programmers say

Go ahead and sign up again.

Don't worry about the authorizations on the cards. I will personally make sure I watch them all get deleted!!!

IIRC, not only a leap day, but also on the last Chinese leap year that was in last January 2008! What a coincidence. (sort of a lucky 13?)
