Add Patriot Media in Nj as well

Patriot Media customers became Comcast, some prices doubled. Why because its Comcastic!. No new benefits. Plus we lost channels!!

Someone has to pay for all the dumb Comcast ads on TV ever few minutes.

We get double dipped here in Chicago, we also keep to see AT&T stupid and disrespectful "Harry Carry advanced TV" commercials.

Hey now, I laughed hysterically at the Comcast ad with the Spiderman nut and the Pomeranian. That was a brilliant ad, though I can't necessarily say the same for their others...

Yeah agreed, the Spiderman roommate one was good. Mostly based the the looks and gestures of the Dog in the spiderman costume and his 'flinty' spiderman fan companion. Otherwise since then we've just had the same tired Comcast Monk and the 'dennis millerish' I'm enlightened cause I over pay with Comcast commcericals.

What a goddamned shame. I have a customer who was on Patriot Media and I had to deal with their customer support at one point. I was very impressed with their competence and responsiveness. Patriot left me feeling that I had just dealt with a company that Got It.

On the other hand, any interactions I have had with Comcast have not failed to leave a very bad taste in my mouth.

My most heartfelt sympathies to former Patriot customers. With some luck, there will be a revitalized SEC in the coming months and Comcast will face the anti-trust scrutiny they have long deserved.

Once a month I call comcast to ask why I am paying $7 for a HDTV receiver and $6 for a digital receiver when I only have 2 boxes in my house. One box comes with the digital package.

If this is not the case then it means the digital box actually cost $13.

I swear to you, I do this monthly since this summer when my free trial expired. It takes about 1/2 hour each time as the customer rep first tries to blow me off. Then when they finally try to do something they quickly get all confused at the stupidity of the charge and the difficulty of getting it to stop.

Sometimes a really smart comcast person not only adds back the extra $6 charge, but they also undo last months refund...

MONTHLY I SWEAR!!

I am not surprised. The times I have dealt with Comcast call center TSR's, I have been amazed at their operative attitude that they are, by default, talking to an ignorant moron and that all problems lie with the person calling in.

It's kinda tough stuff to swallow when you find yourself talking to someone who is apparently still going through puberty.
