Currently, you have to either:
1. Scroll down to the bottom of the page and click Logout in the lower right hand section. Some websites place logout buttons along the top portion of the page where it is easily accessible.
OR
2. Click on the Navigation Bar > Members > Logout.
Unless BBR wants you to stay logged in all the time (therefore, keeping that cookie on your PC), I would like to see the Logout button become more visible instead of more inconspicuous.

You have to do two things in order to log out?
I only have to do one.
And anytime I close my browser I'm logged out also.
Scrolling to the bottom of the page takes me all of about 1/2 of a second, nor does it cause me to break out in a sweat from over-exertion.
So it seems like an incredibly minor issue.
As far as the 'cookie hiding/deletion'-- if you distrust DSLR that much, perhaps you should consider giving up your membership and no longer frequenting the site?
But yeah, sure-- I suppose there could also be a log-out button at the top of the page as well.

2. the logout button used to be up top, too many people clicked it instead of of post new reply/thread button and complained of loggin out all the time.

I had IM'ed one of the mods to move it to the right forum as I accidentally posted in this forum.
At the very least, I was requesting for it to be more visible but we all have our opinions, which is a good thing. 
EDIT: Being that I use Firefox, it discards cookies once I close it so I am still getting my result.

If all you do is use DSLR at one location, it doesn't matter what OS/hardware you use, logging in/out is probably a non-issue. (unless your 1 place happens to be a shared computer) |

This site is always open in my browser. I suppose I am logged out when I close the browser.
As for cookies, I am only concerned about the ones I can eat, and those two I just finished were fantastic.

Tendency to do that probably originates from use of command line interfaces, where spaces aren't typically allowed in a command. Also in programming where variables may be relatively long and descriptive but not contain spaces.
If that really bothers you, don't ever learn German.

Definition of: logoff
The process of quitting from, or signing off of, a computer system. The process (the noun) is a "logoff" or "logout," while the act of doing it (the verb) is to "log off" or "log out."
That is the beauty of American English, it is a very fluid language and we can make it up as we go along.
I don't bother to logout so where they put the button doesn't matter to me.

If you go to public places, you better do more than just log out. Logging out might take care of dangerous cookies, but cache it may not.

Never had a problem I log out every time I'm done. But, you raise a question I want to know (Lazy tonight) How does DSLR measure traffic, I thought it was by unique hits?
