Absolutly, I am an AMD fan but, Currently the Q6600 definatly beats AMDs phenom, Easly over clockable with stock fan from 2.4 to 3.4 COMPLETLY STABLE

Valencia, CA		 And I'm on an 'old' AMD 64bit 3800 CPU (Walmart-Compaq) Vista Pro
upped to 3GB RAM and ATI video card
Runs great under Fedora core 8 64bit
Vista sucks though.
