I regularly insert clip art into WORD documents then paste them to "PAINT" so that I can tweak them. For the past half hour, when I come to the stage of pasting them from WORD to PAINT, the paste fails. Anyone any clues as to why this is happening?

did you try closing Word and if pasting is still problematic, rebooting?
