I have to wonder...

If you're able to drop $30k right now on internet access, are you really worried about the future price? Take that money, invest it and you'll make more money than you'll save.

Even at $50/month, that's 50 years! (yes I know price will go up and it'll be less than 50 years, but still).

Agree invest it. I have kid and that would be a great start toward a college education.

Then again if you have that much cash to piss away, you probably not worried about it.
