I signed them for hosting. Found out, 2 days latter, that I would not be able to keep my DNS at zoneedit. It was due to their "architecture", they said. I asked for a supervisor. He confirmed. You can host with us, but your DNS has to be here for you to do that.
Looks like you didn't do your homework before signing up for 1and1's hosting services. This is a well known and very well documented quirk. I'd suggest doing some research before signing up with your next host.

Tampa, FL		 That is not the point. I was ok with the DNS problem. A little bit surprised but ok.

But the fact that they've tried to charge my credid card, that was an eye opener.

And by the way, thank you for your great suggestion.
