Since this thread has been resurrected, I think it is important to note that Embarq does not provide support for any type of third party routers, Cisco or otherwise. A more appropriate place to look for answers would be with Cisco.

Actually, their support does help with what they call the popular 4 or something like that. As far as I know that's just for basic setup and simple connection issues with Linksys, Belkin, DLink & Netgear. The newer technicians might not be aware of it, but the ones who've been there awhile do.
