Login-only access

Hello,

I will switch to Teksavvy April 1st. I use a TSI login since some months as a backup login (for my phone line). Because Teksavvy will become my primary login in April, I search another ISP that offer this kind of service.

Thanks !

I think Velcom has this.

I don't see that on the velcom's web site. Is it an unpublished plan like at teksavvy ?

How much does it cost ? There is any quotas ?

Thanks.

hmmmm

I thought it was Ebox that had the log-in only accounts like Teksavvy...

Hello ohmer,

As some other members here have stated it's true we also do offer DSL login accounts but we don't list it on our site. The cost for the DSL login account is $10/mo and it includes 100GB of bandwidth transfer for the month.

The DSL login accounts can be setup and activated the same day depending on your method of payment.

Well... Velcom doesn't have French support and ebox is open only on business hours (so cannot join them).

Any other ISP ?

You shouldn't need much support for a login, no? If you set up some kind of automatic billing to VISA, you should be OK I think. I would think Electronic Box would support via email in French outside their hours.

I had a login from TekSavvy for over 6 months before fully switching over, never having to call in once for any issues.

Hello Ohmer,

With a DSL login account all you would need to change from your end would be your PPPoE login information. This would either be configured on your DSL modem, router or workstation depending on which device is handling your PPPoE authentication. Then when you want to switch back to your other ISP all you would need to do is swap the PPPoE details again.

I think HiVolt meant to e-mail eBox for more information but not to send your actual credit card details. Sorry to hear that you will not try out Velcom.

Kind Regards,

Matthew L.

Hi ohmer, normally we have after hours support for emergency. You can place your order on our secure website (»https://secure.electronicbox.net/us/) just add in the notes it is for a dsl login only. Or PM me and i will call you back outside business hours.

Best regards, DiskACE
