Terminal Services Wonky?

Anyone else had some serious problems using terminal services (mstsc) since the throttling started?

Seems every time that I connect into a machine its really slow (ie leave the room and come back in a bit), and then eventually stops updating the screen and is dropped.

Anyone else getting this?

not quite that bad but yes. The shaping tech bell uses will default limit any encrypted traffic (like RDP). This is why a lot of us are so angry at the moment. Its not cause I cant get movies at full speed, I have other means of that. We're pissed cause some of us rely on encrypted services to work and make a living.

*sigh*

So should I be billing Bell for the time that their actions caused me to waste?

while you at it write the ministry of industry and let them know how your business is being affected by another company whom you DONT pay for service.

This shaping of RDP traffic is causing me problems too. Our network virtualizes a SLES Linux Server and it is nearly impossible to work on it when you have such slow downloads and high latency. When I first configured the server, it took me many hours without throttling. Now, however, it is taking me 10 minutes to do a simple log check.
