| I think it is about the easiest way of conveying this information to users that do not have the technical background to understand the situation. I hope that they do explain that all packets are analyzed and someone makes a report that simple throttling of one protocol leads to high latency since deep packet inspection is performed on all TCP and UDP packets passing through the routers.
I think that because Primus is now involved, there will be a lot of heads spinning at Bell with the pending Class Action lawsuit. I do not know what Bell was thinking - but they now have to deal with their ridiculous actions. |

| reply to matradley If thats what you think then they need to be educated."Grann's gonna have to wait for the video of her grand kids because it's a P2P file so instead of having it before nightfall she has to wait till morning."What if we stopped compressing files to send them. How do you think they would react then with no compressed P2P files. |

| reply to JayMan "the majority of their users are finding their speed cut by as much as 90%"
This is almost right: I could torrent at over 400KB/s during my first weeks of TSI service and now my torrents are nailed at 30KB/s. This is actually in excess of 90% slower. |
