Y'know, I read scifi all the time and am easily able to visualize the times, places, and devices mentioned in the stories as if they are actualities. When I see pictures like these, it just brings home how our imaginations drive our scientific progress and how far ahead our imaginations have exceeded our actual progress. We are as newborns, slowly learning our way.
