Anon | How to get your money back.
I too have been scammed by PSN. The local phone company cancelled my order, but PSN still charged me. They are "waiting for the cancellation" to happen!
What everyone needs to do is call their credit card company, and tell them PSN has not delivered services or goods promised. Your credit company goes to PSN's Merchant Accopuint bank, and asks them to pay the money back. Once PNS's bank has had enough refunds, they wil cancel the account, and that will prevent them from doing this to anyone else.
We need everyone who is waiting on PSN to refund them their money to do this. I filled out the form this morning.

Anon | I took your advice, Jeff. I've cancelled my order and contacted my credit card company. They informed me, however, that since I provided PSN with my card number, the charge isn't "fraudulent" and there is nothing they can do.
They told me to contact PSN to get my money back. Fat chance. I'm working on 5 days straight now trying to get a hold of anybody at PSN - about 15 total hours logged on hold. I still haven't been able to reach a "live" person.
Any other ideas/suggestions? |

Anon | You can't do the cancellation. PSN has to do it. If you cancel, that is breach of contract. You are now in the wrong.
If they have your money, and you are not getting service, it does not matter that you have given them your card number. They have failed to deliver the promised goods. That is the fraudulent part. Tell your credit card company that you never received the promised goods or services.
If they haven't charged your card, that is different. I suspect you have already been charged, and it has been a month or more and still no working line. If that is the case, you can argue on the basis of the promised merchandise or services not being delivered.
Take a look at the BBB web site for Arizona. Tell your credit card company to use that as evidence that their business practices are questionable. There is safety in numbers. Go to »www.bbb.org and follow the link to Phoenix.
Visit the »www.fraud.org site and file a complaint with them also.
All of this is moot if you have never had your credit card charged, or if you were given service but it is less than you expected. If either of these are the case, all you can do is contact the Arizona District Attorney and file a complaint to them. You may want to consider also sending a letter to your state's DA also. They may or may not care.
Good luck.

Anon | reply to Anon I just received a voice mail from Tammy telling me that they refunded my Credit Card! I checked my bank and sure enough the credit is there. I guess I won't find out if this plan to ask the CC company to dispute it as non-delivery of service will work or not.
She still want's me to call her back. I've left 4 voice mails so far. She has tried to call me back, but after I left for the day. She said she wants to talk about my account.
I have to mention I also sent a letter to the BBB in Phoneix, the District Attorney in Arizona, and the National Fraud center. I can't help but wonder if their willingness to resolve this problem might be related to the copy of that letter I sent to PSN also.

Anon | reply to Anon I have just done the same; I sent PSN a letter with a copy of customer complaint form addressed to the Attorney General Consumers Complaint Dept. in Phoenix, Arizona. I think if anyone wants there money back they eventually have to do the same. Trying to resolve this with PSN is a waste of time. Also complain to the Better Business Bureau. Send everything by certified mail, return receipt, so you have proof they recieved the letters. Here is the address for the Attorney General in case anyone needs it: Office of the Attorney General Consumer Information & Complaints 1275 W. Washington Phoenix, Arizona 85007-2926 Good Luck! To all of us! |

Anon | It worked! 3 days later I got a full refund. Unfortunately we can't charge them for the time spent. Thanks for all the suggestions everyone posted up here, without it I would not have known how to get the refund. Thanks so much! |
