Need Advice For Hot Spot Web Server

Sorry if this is the wrong forum for this post.

I am looking for a web hosting solution for an internal website. We are looking for a simple setup that acts as a local only hot spot and redirects our users to an internal website. This will be in houses thata are for sale to allow the users to view more information on the spot.

Does any one know of any solutions that will allow us to run a hot spot that users will conect to and automatically be redirected to an internal website? The perfect solution would be for example a router and hard drive, USB key etc not a full computer system.

Sorry agian if this is the wrong forum.

Thanks In Advance!!

Hey Hotspot -

I assume the "internal" website already exists with the house listings? If so, then this is really easy (as long as the wireless access point is on a network that can access the internal webpage you're referring to).

I'd recommend an AP running DD-WRT, and just enable the "Captive Portal" function and make it re-direct to your houses for sale web page.
