I am so pleased that Shirley can be where you had hoped that she could be! It will be wonderful to be able to have her quite literally a few minutes away...
I know that it isn't the same as home, but it will still mean that you can share a lot of time together, watch a movie, share a dinner from a favorite local take-out place...
I am very happy that these things will be possible, Terry!

The nurse just called,and they are moving Sweet pea tomorrow morning at 9:00 AM.
We got the nursing home we ask for,and its just three miles from home,so i will be able to spend a lot of time with her as we move forward.

Update:
I just talked with Shirley and her nurse,and she said the reason they haven't moved Shirley to a Nursing Home yet is because she has Pneumonia.
They have to get that cleared up first and then they can move her.
Shirley seems to be feeling better today,but really wants out of that place of course. |
