'DMTv7.35.ini' has 'allowUntestedFWversion = 1', right?
Also, why can't you go DownGrade?
Doesn't this work for you?:

| Yep, allowUntestedFWversion = 1 is all OK.
Downgrading seems to go up till about 35% then the router starts a reset procedure and the firmware utility times out. I have treid about 3 different types of v6 firmware to downtgrade to, all with no success.
I shall try the link you have given me with TFTP and report back.
