| reply to JSarella My SB5101 is showing
DHCP: ACK: Setting (*) CM TFTP Boot file: d11_m_sb5101_stpwboost_c01.cm
I can not find a reference to "stpwboost" anywhere via google. Is this a uncommon config file? I am supposed to have 8/768 service.
I am in the South Seattle, WA area. |

said by JSarella :Did that, this is what Isee, 1970-01-01 00:00:14 7-Information DHCP: ACK: Setting (*) CM TFTP Boot file: d11_m_sb5120_silverpboost_c01.cm why the hell is the date 1/1/1970? lol, and im guessing that silverpboost isn't the 8/768 package? I believe that this info is current and accurate:
Speedtier Extreme is the Blast 16 / 1 service.
Speedtier Extreme 2 is the Blast 16 / 2 service.
Performance Plus is 8000 kbps / 768 kbps
Performance: 6000 kbps / 384 kbps
New tier, name or availability not yet known: 6000 kbps / 1 Mbps
Select areas only:
Performance / Silverdeluxe: 6000 kbps / 768 kbps
This is how some of the config files look:
d11_m_ [*******] _standard_c01.cm = (4/384) [Standard]
d11_m_ [*******] _silver_c01.cm = (6/384) [Performance]
d11_m_ [*******] _silverdeluxe_c01.cm) = (6/768) [Silver Deluxe]
d11_m_ [*******] _speedtier_c01.cm = (8/768) [Performance Plus]
d11_m_ [*******] _speedtierextreme_c01.cm = (16/1) [Blast 1]
d11_m_ [*******] _speedtierextreme2_c01.cm = (16/2) [Blast 2]
******* [denotes modem model #]
d11_m_ [******] _silverpboost_c01.cm = (6/1) [Name of tier not yet known]
Config file names: speedtierextreme2- 16000/2000 speedtierextreme 16000/1000 speedtier 8000/768 silverpboost - 6/1 silverdeluxe 6000/768 silver 6000/384 standard 4000/384
As far as the date/time stamp goes, that is what it defaults when the modem has yet to receive any updated data from the T.O.D. (time of day) server. |

| reply to JSarella Hi JSarella, looks like 8/768 to me.
To make sure, power down modem a couple of mins. Switch it back on. Then type in 192.168.100.1 in the address bar and check out the log file in the modem. If you have Blast the cm file should be:
CM TFTP Boot file: d11_m_sb5120_speedtierextreme2_c01.cm |
