Hi,

Have any of you had dealings with this company? I purchased some equipment from them at a time when their on-line credit card processing was not working. I sent them a check and then, cancelled part of the order. They assured me they would mail me a check for the refund and I have never received it. I have emailed them several times, but they won't reply to my emails. I'll give it one more try, but I was just wondering if anyone else has had problems with them.

I have never dealt with them as I have had no need. My system was installed new by a HN installer but oddly enough, many, many people here HAVE dealt with them and most will swear by them from what I've read in the past. Just from what I've read, give them another chance or two. have you tried to call them?

Montana is an outstanding company and the owner is on this forum quite a bit. They might be having some problems or a snafu of some sort...that happens from time to time. I would give them a call. They won't stiff you.

Well, I called and left a message a week ago, but nobody has returned my call. Today, I mailed them a letter, with a copy of the original invoice showing a refund due.

Hopefully, they will respond to my letter with a check.

To me, it's unprofessional to treat a customer this way.

I am unfortunately having the same problem with Montana Satellite. When I asked questions before my purchase, I was responded to quickly. When I received a part that didn't fit, they responded quickly also with return/refund instructions. I tracked my return package, which arrived at there business over a month ago. Now, no one will respond to my emails inquiring about my refund and I've sent one weekly. I dont think it's too much to ask that a company tell you that the refund is at least being processed or acknowlege messages. I wont do business with them again.

So far I have had no response from the letter I mailed. I enclosed a copy of my sales receipt showing an amount credited of $179.95 and explained that I had never received a refund check.

If it was just a few dollars I wouldn't care, but $179.95 is money I could sure use.

I would not lightly "flame" a business on a forum, but since this is where I got the name of the company - I feel I should let people know how they treat their customers.
