said by speedfactory :

We expect the problem to be resolved shortly. We apologize for the delay and the outage.

We will gladly offer free service to those affected by the outage. We should be back on line by weekend.
$49.95/month says you're actually a troll having fun with gullible forum readers.

I'm not taking chances, and have already signed up with Abraxis.

@comcast.net

I gotta 2nd invalid on this...

if this is SF then why post here instead of putting it on your homepage which was been happily serving the normal "we rock/sign up now!" page during this entire ordeal w/no mention of the outage, issue, ETA, etc? that begin said I will say the explanation above is consistent with the one a neighbor of mine was able to get from the parent company.

THAT being said the handling of this has been beyond ridiculous so my wife just put in the order to switch us back to the dark side (scumcast)...

what a shame as SF has been the ISP of choice among the tech-savvy (at least in Atlanta) for years...

I'm going to have to ask your question too. I use a caching nameserver that gets requests from top-level DNS servers. I don't even know the DNS servers at SF. If I did I guess I could get to www.speedfactory.net without issue since it is on the internal network.

If that is the case and other SF users can do the same why has their not been any information placed on that site?
