| Norton 360 V2 last week I upgraded multiple PCs (XPPro, XPHome, MCE2005 OS's) from disk installed Norton 360 to Norton 360V2. I had received an email from Symantec advising of the V2 version and that current subscribers were eligible to upgrade via download. Since downloading and installing, I've had small problems on all PCs. My main concern is my XPHome PC. When I open the software and start a comprehensive scan, the current activity window (that shows scan progress) does not appear, the choose scan window seems to just sit there. If I close the software or reboot, I get a window advising a scan is running.
I am wondering if it is possible to revert to the original 360 software and how I might accomplish that? thanks in advance---

| Re: Norton 360 V2 After trying Norton 360 twice, I determined it was something I would not want on any of my computers. To clarify, I understand your problem is with multiple Windows XP systems and not Windows Vista.
You will probably have to uninstall v2 and do a cleanup. Then you can reinstall the original version - hopefully.
I suggest you check your computer for the downloaded v2 setup file in case you decide to reinstall later.

@csc.com | 2 options - system restore to take you back to 360 before you upgraded or use the online support tool to allow a Norton tech to connect to your PC and fix V2.

1 edit | Here is some additional information:
Cnet has posted a review warning that Norton 360 v2 may cause grief for legacy hardware computers. Since you're running Windows XP, you may be in this category.
