I would ask WOW for a new modem. I had a SA from Time Warner and had the same problem. When I switched to WOW!, I no longer had a SA. Instead, I have an Arris. Request one of those.
Do you have voip? I do and was under the impression from WOW only the arris were for voip. I know before the voip I had an SA with nary a problem. Just curious if it had changed.

@wideopenwest.com
I am in Cleveland and I had an Arris both before and after I got VOIP. It is the only modem they had available to me in Cleveland.
