Re: Canceling via certified mail - address requested

Well it appears I am in the same boat. Looks like I will have to go the certified mail route as well. I have cancelled by e-mail twice and no response. I used their contact form on the site when it finally came back up and printed the screen copy of the automated response telling them I had cancelled and they were no longer authorized to use my card number.

Last night I received and email from billing from them and it looks like the charged two months. For last month and this month although I have already been billed and charged for last month. According to the card company as of early this morning the charge actually had not appeared on my bill and of course some GOD at the card company told me that until they gave me a cancellation number the account was not cancelled. Right! Well I have tried everything including SMOKE signals to get in touch with them!

I called NextPhase on my dime in California again this morning and even though selecting customer service I wound up at Tech Support. They could not cancel me but took a message for Speed Factory to call me back.... I told them I would not hold my breath!

I guess certified mail is next. I sure am glad I made a move away from them after the 1st. outage, I originally felt like I was getting a divorce and was hesitant. Now I am just plain mad.

Will you be sending certified to Shallowford? That's looking like the best option short of sending it to NextPhase corporate headquarters, wherever the heck that is.
