| [Eastern Ontario] [Kingston] Problems in the morning
Just checking to see if this is affecting anyone else besides myself. Lately early in the morning I'm having huge issues with the net. Half the sites I try and go to load finem other half refuse to load, and it is consistent. Example, I cannot load yahoo.com, I cannot log into my gmail account, I can load google but cannot do searches, it just times out. Its weird half the sites work, half dont. This only seams to happen early in the morning, like around 5 am. Is this a known issue or something??? |

The last couple of weeks have been pretty bad, speeds have been all over the place. Kinda reminds me of when they rolled out VOIP.

Slowly but surely things are turning around for the better, in another 20-30 minutes things should be fine... I guess I just need to be a little more patient.

| Kingston is a big place, and I'm sure you're not all suffering from the same problem, unless you're all next door neighbors. It would probably help if whoever has a problem, to individually start a thread following the link that DrDog posted, otherwise you won't get anywhere. |

For what it's worth -- I'm seeing the same slowdowns specifically in the mornings...Speeds are fine other times of day, but in the early mornings (7:00am-8:30am when I leave for work) I get speeds that are ~1Mbit down...when I remote into my home machine from work to do speed tests throughout the day, speeds have normalized and are more like what I expect. |
