I've had vonage for 3 years with no issues, but since getting here - major choppy with download. At first I told WOW they needed to make sure I had a cable modem with DOCSIS 1.1 or better and they had no clue about DOCSIS at all. When I called them and asked them if their network supported QoS, they were dumbfounded. They told me their "engineer" had never even heard of it. Of course they told me that since I had vonage, they couldn't help me. I argued that it wasn't a vonage issue - it was their network. The fact that you have their service and still have the issue tells me that their network just isn't setup to support QoS and the only people who don't have the issue are the ones who don't do any sustained downloading. I ended up emailing their CTO and CEO. If I get a response, I'll post it.
